Cotton sambalpuri ikat pattern deep purple colour fabric 1.25 metres remnant
Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs resist dyeing on the yarns prior to dyeing and weaving the fabric.
As this fabric is hand printed there are some pattern and colour variations across the length of the fabric.
Every effort has been made to accurately portray the colours used in this fabric, however individual monitor settings and other factors may cause discrepancies.
We recommend the you use the following care instructions.
- It is recommended to wash the fabric before use, particularly dark colours and indigo. These may take more than one wash to get residual dye out. There will be minimal shrinkage due to the printing process.
- Gentle cold machine wash
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not bleach
- Warm iron
- Do not dry clean
