What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Currently we ship to Australia and New Zealand only using Australia Post.

Furniture and some homewares are sent directly from the manufacturer in India. These items are custom built after your order is received and this can take up to 8 weeks until it is received. Shipping will be by courier direct to customer. See below for further information.

Do you ship internationally?

We are shipping to New Zealand only at this time.

Customs and import taxes

Customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are also not responsible for delays due to customs.

Your order will be processed within 1-3 business days.

How long will it take to get my package?

NOTE: DUE TO CONSTANT CHANGES AFFECTING SHIPPING TIMES WE CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY WITHIN THE TIME FRAMES OUTLINED BELOW. PLEASE REFER THE AUSTRALIA POST WEBSITE FOR THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION ON SHIPPING TIMES.

The average pre-COVID-19 postage times are listed below. We do our best to meet these shipping estimates, but can’t guarantee them. At certain times of the year like Christmas and other holidays there are often delays so we encourage you to order as early as possible if you need your purchases within a certain timeframe.

What Is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a payment service that allows you to enjoy what you want now, and pay for it in four equal payments later. The best part is, the payments are interest free.

To use Afterpay shop online as normal and choose Afterpay as your payment method at the checkout. You’ll then be directed to the Afterpay website.

If it’s your first time using Afterpay, you’ll need to register. Then you’ll complete your purchase and receive a confirmation email from both us and Afterpay.
Afterpay orders are delivered as per our delivery timeframes and are subject to our Returns Policy.

Orders and Returns

Do I need an account to place an order?

You can make purchases as a guest without signing up for an account. We recommend signing up for an account on the My Account page so you can keep track of your orders and receive exciting offers from us.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Please ensure that you order carefully as no cancellations or changes to orders will be accepted. For further information see our Terms & Conditions.

How do I track my order?

Only orders that have paid for tracking will be provided with tracking details. You can track your order by using the Order Tracking page. You will need your Order ID and the email address you used to place the order.

How can I return an order?

Should there be a fault with your order please contact us by email to info@bhumiandpari.com within 7 days of receiving your order to seek a return. We will provide you with further information at that time on how to return your faulty items.

You will also need to return the faulty items to us for the return in the following timeframe:

> 14 days for domestic (Australian) orders
> 28 days for international (not Australian) orders

Fabrics

Our fabrics, either those that are used to make out clothes or those for sale by the metre, are all 100% cotton, hand-printed using a wood block or screen-printed with natural and synthetic dyes. Due to this there will be some pattern and colour variations across the length of the fabric. You are really buying a one of a kind item!

We sell our fabrics in 50cm increments. You will need to choose the number of increments you want to meet the whole entire length you need. For example if you want 2 metres of fabric select 4, if you need 5 metres of fabric select 10.

Furniture & Homewares

Our furniture and most homewares are made to order in India. The specific information for each item is outlined on each product page.

Each item is hand crafted by skilled artisans. As they are handmade there may be small variations from what is pictured. You item will be one of a kind.

Where items use bone or shells we assure that these are from a sustainable source, usually a byproduct of the food industry.

Once your order is received your items will be custom made for you. Production times differ for each item and these will take from 2-8 weeks.

When you order is complete your items will be couriered directly to your home address.
