Description
An earthy floral Ajrakh cotton on a deep aubergine-brown ground, scattered with stylised flowers in brick red, cream and pale blue. The generous spacing gives the traditional motif room to stand out without making the fabric feel busy.
This 100% cotton fabric is genuine Ajrakh hand block printed in Barmer, Rajasthan, India. Bhumi & Pari has personally visited the workshop where these fabrics are printed. The workshop uses both natural and synthetic dyes across its textiles, so we do not claim a particular dye type for this individual design.
A beautiful choice for dresses, shirts, skirts, tops, relaxed trousers, bags, cushions and other sewing projects.
Because this fabric is genuinely hand block printed, small variations in colour, registration and print are part of its handmade character rather than faults.

How to order
We sell our fabrics in 50 cm increments. Choose the number of increments needed for your total length. For example, select 2 for 1 metre or 4 for 2 metres. Multiple increments will be supplied as one continuous length wherever possible.
Every effort has been made to accurately portray the colours used in this fabric; however, individual monitor settings, lighting and other factors may cause some variation.
We recommend that you use our care instructions:
- Wash the fabric before use, particularly dark colours and indigo. Some residual dye may take more than one wash to remove.
- Gentle cold machine wash
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not bleach
- Warm iron
- Do not dry clean
