Khadi is a hand-spun and woven natural fibre cloth made of 100% cotton. It has a similar feel to a heavy linen with a slightly looser weave. It is a versatile fabric, cool in summer and warm in winter. This fabric is perfect for clothing as well as good for being used as upholstery fabric.
This fabric was hand-printed in Barmer, Rajasthan, India.
The fabric is printed using hand wood block printing using natural and synthetic dyes.
The width of the fabric is 114 cms.
Red and white check stripe is approximately 0.8 cms wide, clack and white stripe is approximately 1.4 cms.
The pattern runs length way along this fabric.
We sell our fabrics in 50 cm increments. You will need to choose the number of increments you want to meet the whole entire length you need. For example, if you want 1 metres of fabric select 2, if you need 2 metres of fabric select 4.
As this fabric is hand printed there will be some pattern and colour variations across the length of the fabric. You are really buying a one of a kind item!

We recommend the you use the following care instructions.
It is recommended to wash the fabric before use, particularly dark colours and indigo. These may take more than one wash to get residual dye out. There will be minimal shrinkage due to the printing process.
